Connie Cline

Connie Sue Cline, age 46, of Mansfield, died Wednesday morning, April 7, 2004 at her home following an extended illness. She was born September 12, 1957, in Mansfield to Walter Cleveland and Opal Fern Payton Jones. Connie was a life-long area homemaker and attended Lincoln Height Church of Christ in Christian Union.

She is survived by her husband, John H. Cline, whom she married May 25, 1979; a daughter, Melissa Jones of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Halee McKenzie Jones and Hunter Michael Jones; mother, Opal Jones of Mansfield; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Betty Hess, Carol and Bill Tackett, all of Mansfield, Barbara and Eugene Patton of Arcadia, Florida; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Charlene Jones of Mansfield, David and Lynda Jones of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Gary and JoAnn Jones of Columbus, Ohio; and friends, Louise Cole and Jane Lemaster, both of Mansfield. Her father preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Thursday, April 8 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Bruce Morrison and Rev. Earl Tackett. Interment will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
