Connie J. Evans, 47, of Mansfield died Saturday afternoon, September 21, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Evans was born August 20, 1955 in Galion, Ohio and was a Mansfield area resident her entire life. She was employed in the Quality Control department for Jay Plastics.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Evans; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott, Jr. and Rachel Evans, John Evans, Matt Evans, all of Mansfield; and two sisters, Sharron Troiano of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and Mary Daughenbaugh of Bucyrus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Mae Herndon; and three brothers, Jerry, David and Dale Herndon.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Monday, September 23 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. Faith Proietti. Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
