Cynthia McDaniel

Born August 18, 1960 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Edward and Janet (Hildebrand) Ohl. Cynthia attended Madison Local Schools and graduated in 1978. A very humble and giving person, she worked at Crestwood Care Center as a nurses aide for 10 years. Cynthia loved to shop especially at Kohl’s and on QVC and loved being a part of Breast Cancer Awareness but her greatest joy was her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis McDaniel; a daughter, Ashley (Nathan) Kallerson; a son, Wes Remy and his fiancé Keely Finley; grandchildren, Dillon Jackson, Garrett Kallerson, Riley Kallerson, Noah Kallerson, and Trey Remy; her father and mother, Edward and Janet (Hildebrand) Ohl; a sister, Terry Tilton; two brothers, Todd Ohl and Dave (Ginger) Ohl; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Todd Remy; her paternal grandparents, Irwyn and Anna Ohl; her maternal grandparents, Kermit and Esther Hildebrand; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012 at the funeral home conducted by Evangelist Neil Gilliland. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
