Dale McLaughlin

Dale was an amazing father and grandfather. His best friends were his grandsons, Tre and Shandon. His greatest achievement in life was spending time with his grandchildren. Dale retired from PPG after 39 years as a supervisor. His greatest love, after family, was the OSU Buckeyes. Nothing was more important on game days. Everyone that came into contact with Dale loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Donna McLaughlin; children, Dalela Cinda Dyer, Mandy (Mike) Love, Bryan Bloom, and Donyll McLaughlin-Kiah; grandchildren, Ricki (Shannon) Tate, Alan Dyer, Christina Bloom, Dirk Bloom, Tre Howell, and Shandon Kiah; great-grandchildren, Trace, Neveah, Trenton, Jalen, Jaron, Jaxon, Addyson, Alena, and Karver; sisters, Blanche Robertson and Margaret Ann; special nieces and nephews, Lugene (Kim Stone), Kimme Jo (Kirk) Sowards and Dale (Theresa) Robertson; and a host of special friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona; father, Donald; brother, Donald Jr.; and grandson, Nathan Rader.

Following Dale's wishes, there will be no services. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
