

Danny was a gifted child. He was baptized in the Catholic Church. Danny graduated from Madison High School where he was an honor student. He was also a student tutor and was awarded a scholarship. Later he attended college to become an electronic engineer. Danny collected rare coins for more than forty years. He was an Amateur Radio Operator licensed by the Federal Communications Commission, USA. Danny spoke several languages and talked with people all around the world. He had many cards, photographs and stamps from foreign countries. He is sadly missed by friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Burgess; two sisters, Marilyn Sampson and Lisa (Billy) Duffey; one aunt, Linda Gayheart; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emerson and Mary Burgess and Oscar and Anna Dages; father, Daniel R. Burgess Sr.; godfather, Alexandar Hristovski; and sister, Susan Burgess.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, March 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mansfield Memorial Park. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors was honored to have served the family.
