

Daniel Garrison, Jr., 67, of 1532 Twp. Rd. 1455, Ashland, Ohio passed away Sunday afternoon at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Garrison was born March 25, 1932 in Staunton, Virginia to Daniel & Mary Ferrel Garrison. He worked 33 years as a sheeter leader at Empire Detriot Steel and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Ashland and a member of the Yesteryear Antique Machinery Club of Ashland. Mr. Garrison served in the U. S. Army 37th Division during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Norma Garrison of Ashland; one son & daughter-in-law, Daniel III & Marla Garrison of Jeromesville, Ohio; two daughters & sons-in-law, Melissa & George Greenbank of Ashland, Ohio & Marsha & Bert McKee of Jeromesville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jennifer Bland, Stephanie & Amanda Greenbank, & Jeremy, Jerrod, & Meghan McKee; two great-grandchildren, Angelica Bland & Madison McKee; numerous nieces & nephews; two brothers & a sister-in-law, Harley Garrison of Mansfield & Tom & Mott Garrison of Mansfield; & three sisters & brother-in-law, Carol & John Ratcliff of Mansfield, Ruth Jones of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, & Ethel Wheeler of Fredericktown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel & Mary Ferrel Garrison.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Wednesday March 1, 2000 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday March 2, 2000 at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Dennis Kerr. Burial will be held in Windsor Park Cemetery in Windsor. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Ashland, Ohio.
