David A. Marker, 55 of Gainesville, Florida died Sunday September 3, 2000. Mr. Marker was born February 11, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio moving to Florida in 1978. He was employed with Main Street Chevrolet in Gainesville, Florida. David was an avid fisherman, loved music and collected Indian artifacts.
Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Michelle and James Hurry of Ocala, Florida; and Rachelle Marker of Washington, DC; two grandchildren, Elorah and Ethan Hurry; one brother, Joe Marker of Bellville, Ohio; one sister, Phyllis Shaffer of Bellville, Ohio; and his former wife, Elenora Marker of Ocala, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Alice Marker.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to graveside services which will be held on Friday September 8, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. in Mansfield Memorial Park.
