David Plack

Dave Plack, 39, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 7, 2010. He was born August 18, 1970 and was a lifelong area resident. Dave graduated from Lexington HS in the class of '88 and attended OSU for more than 3 years. He enjoyed being around friends and family, music, pets, sports - especially OSU and the outdoors. He entertained those who knew him with his quick-witted humor and was a very inventive prankster. Dave worked at Oxyrase, Newman Technology and IMI Logistics. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Pat Collins Plack of Mansfield, best friends, Jeremy JP Prosser, Kathy and Matt Yohe: paternal grandmother, Jo Plack of Oldsmar, FL: aunts and uncles, Kathy Steve Horvath of Oldsmar, FL and Lorri Gary Walker of Lucas: and cousins, Amy, Erin, Stacie and Chris. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rex and Sue Collins and paternal grandfather, Andy Plack. Our sweet Dave is finally at peace. There will be no services or visitation. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Mr. Plack. Charitable contributions in his honor may be made to Kingwood Center, the Ohio Bird Sanctuary, Gorman Nature Center or the Humane Society of Richland County.
