David Van Bremen

David Dave Wayne VanBremen, 49, of Ashland, died Monday, October 27, 2008 at his residence. Born September 11, 1959, in Ashland, he was the son of Russell and Warnetta Whyel VanBremen. He was a local driver for Dor-Lo Pizza and a member of Sons of America Legion. An avid Elvis fan, he enjoyed singing karaoke in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Lynn Rice VanBremen; step children Randy Webb of North Carolina and Wendy Webb of Ashland; eight step grandchildren; brothers, William Sharon VanBremen and Robert Cheryl VanBremen, all of Ashland; sisters, Sandra Young, Patty Meyer, and Diana Hochstetler, all of Ashland; niece/daughter, Heather Brent Coffman and great-niece, Tia; Chad Shomate and Misty Shomate, along with numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wanda; and great niece, Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Ave, conducted by Pastor Albert Page. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
