He was born March 16, 1941, in Wooster, Ohio, to the late Charlotte (Doty) and Howard Yeagley. After graduating from high school, David honorably served his country in the United States Army. He later retired from General Motors, where he worked as a tow motor operator.
David enjoyed the simple joys of life—fishing with his beloved wife, Elsie, planting flowers each spring, and caring for his cats and dogs. He was an avid Cleveland Guardians and Green Bay Packers fan and loved taking long car rides through the countryside. Known for his heart of gold and gentle spirit, David was truly one of the sweetest souls and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his stepson, Norman Morrow; grandchildren, Joe, Lasmindas, and Chain; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Larrie Yeagley, Linda Fath, and Janet Yeagley; special nephew, Melvin (Patricia) Burns; and many cherished family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie (Burns) Yeagley; in-laws, Willie and Ora Burns; stepdaughter, Linda Culifer; and grandparents, Fred and Helen Doty and Francis and Rena Yeagley.
