Dean Longfellow

Dean Longfellow, age 61, of 1238 Park Avenue East, died Thursday April 1, 2004 at home following a brief illness. Mr. Longfellow was born March 8, 1943 in Zanesville, Ohio living in the Mansfield area for the past 24 years. He was a former employee at Rinks

Bargain City in Zanesville. Mr. Longfellow was a member of Zanesville Moose Club.

Surviving are three sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita & David Ross of Pataskala, Ohio, Ada & Roger Sr. Rush of Mansfield and Shirley & Ralph Paxton of Zanesville; two brothers, James & Paul Longfellow both of Zanesville; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and special friends, Lee & Sherry Meadows of Mansfield. A special thanks to Ella Wagner of Mansfield and all of Dean's friends at Jimmy B's. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight K. Sr. & Margaret R. Fisher Longfellow, a sister, Mary Jane Longfellow, a brother, Dwight Longfellow Jr.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Dave Bates of Unity Freewill Baptist Church in Galion, Ohio. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery, Zanesville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
