Debbie Shumway, 51, died early Thursday morning, October 30, 2008, at her home. Born April 13, 1957, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of James and Wanda Skiver Crane, Sr. Debbie was a loving grandmother and very giving lady. Many family-oriented activities brought her much enjoyment. She was a hardworking woman who indulged herself in watching horror films with her husband-a pastime he will miss.
She is survived by her husband of five years, Jeff Shumway; two daughters, Monica Hall of Wooster and Kelli Michael Hansen of Nebraska; a son, Scott Angel Brady of Crestline; five grandchildren, Laken, Brandon, Bailey, Danny and Samara-Lynn with another grandchild on the way; two brothers, James Lucy Crane, Jr. of Ontario and Tom Crane of Shelby; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends and family may visit from 5-8 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2008, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road.
