

Debra was a 1979 graduate of Madison High School. She was currently working at Hertz Rent-A-Car but had previously worked as an EMT for Washington Township; was a part of the mounted Sheriff's department; worked as a 911 dispatcher; worked in animal clinics; and operated her own day care for 10 years. Debra had a love of horses, enjoyed riding every chance she could, and loved all animals, especially her cat, Magoo. She was an exceptional shopper and enjoyed honing her skills.
Debra loved with her whole heart and was always caring for others before herself. She loved keeping in touch with her family and spending time with her grandchildren was her most favorite activity. Debra was very kind and meant so much to many people. She will not be forgotten and we are all blessed for having known her.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of three years, Bob Orth; daughter, Shannon (Mitchell) Gregory; grandchildren, Dominic Hyland-Spencer, Seth Hyland-Spencer and Gavin Hyland-Spencer; a great-granddaughter, Ella Hyland-Spencer; mother, Barbara Price Heenan; wombmate, Diane (Craig) Sloey; two sisters, Wendy (Doug) Fox and Julie (John) Brinning; and brother, James (Mary) Heenan. She is also survived by five step children, Robert (Sara) Orth, Bart Orth, Jessica Orth, Bret Orth and William Orth; six step grandchildren, Donovan, Britton, Rheign, Mia, Gabriel, and Robert; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins, Linda Yarian and Wayne Groves; and beloved pets-dogs, Chili, Nacho and Pinto; and horses Nick and Louie.
Debra is preceded in death by her father, Charles Kenneth Heenan; brother, Kenneth Heenan; and grandmother, Kathryn "Nanny" Heenan.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will proceed to Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
