Diane Wells

Diane Elaine Wells, 54, of Ashland, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Hospice of North Central Ohio. Born December 12, 1955 in Mentor, she was the daughter of Kenneth T. and Doris Hayes Bowling. Diane worked as a Real Estate Appraiser for Matz Reality and was a member of Park Street Brethren Church and the Ashland Board of Realtors. She enjoyed hiking, going to church, and teaching Sunday school. But most of all, she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, James H. Wells of Ashland; children, Emery Lynne Weaver of Cincinnati, Raymond Weaver of Columbus, Heather Jeffrey Fry of Ashland, David Lisa Weaver of Canton, Stephanie Aaron Corral and Aubrey Wells, both of Ashland; 17 grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Bowling of Wooster and Sharon Baird of Millersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Greene and sister, Karen Dean.

Friends may call Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Ave., Ashland. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 10:30 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Nankin Cemetery.
