

Diane B. Them Yoder, 76, of Mansfield, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at Hospice House in Ashland. She was born January 27, 1937 in Mansfield to the late Frank and Rose (Leitenberger) Them. Diane was one of a kind and God broke the mold when she was born. She was a 1954 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and Mansfield Business College. Diane was an amazing homemaker and loved her family and friends.Her greatest joy in life was in preparing food for her family and friends and watching them enjoy eating her special recipes. She was proud to pass those traditions on to her family. Diane was an active member of the Richland County Democratic Party and Sons of Herman.
She is survived by one son, Christian Scott (Jenni) Yoder of Mansfield; three daughters, Cathy (Peter) Yoder Angelas, Cindy (Jack) Yoder Soliday, both of Mansfield, Cheryl (Roburt) Yoder Adams Kareff of NH; and former husband, Merle Yoder. She also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, Dinos (Samantha) Angelas, Cathy (Jason) Adams Lemire, Jacob (Carrie) Soliday, Jeffrey (fiancée, Sarah) Soliday, Katie Angelas, Matthew (Katie) Soliday, Kelly (Christopher) Adams Rees, Amalia (Aaron) Dasher, Chelsie Diann (fiancé, Brandon) Adams, Jaden and Jevin Yoder; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, dear relatives and many special friends; a sister-in-law, Carol Them of Mansfield; and two brothers-in-law, Ronald Schweitzer and Eugene Smith both of Mansfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, George Angelas; brother, Donald Them; sisters, Darlene Them Schweitzer and Dorothy Them Smith; and a son-in-law, Thomas Adams.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. A Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service conducted by Father Gregory Hite will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
