Dolly Sutherland

Dolly L. Sutherland, 76, of Palm Bay, Florida, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 in Holmes Regional Medical Center in Florida. Born August 18, 1931 in Pike County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of George L. and Sara A. Branham Milam.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Sutherland of Palm Bay, Florida; two daughters, Peggy Roose of Mansfield, and Annette Smith of Mt. Gilead; three grandsons, Wesley, Douglas, Jason Tackett; a granddaughter, Halla Smith; five great-grandchildren, Destiny, Serenity and Rhiannon Tackett and Jordan and Jesse; three brothers, Clayton Milam of TN, Paul Milam of IL, and Elmer Milam of NV; and a sister, Geraldine Dotson of TN. Preceding her in death was her parents, six brothers, Jasper, Jim, Clyde, David, Frank and Willie, and two sisters, Alta and Georgia Raye.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 23 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Wayne Guinn with additional visitation from 12-1 p.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure-Breast Cancer Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
