
Dolores A. Rabquer Harmon, 67, of Ontario died Monday, October 20, 2003 at her home. She was born December 23, 1935 in Mansfield to Peter D. and Dolores Negrette Rabquer. Mrs. Harmon has been a lifelong resident of Mansfield. She retired from Sprint after 30 years of service. She and her husband, W. Eugene Harmon, owned and operated Gene's Pastry Shop until 2001. Dolores attended Open Bible Church for 47 years. She was a member of Flame Fellowship and Women's Aglow. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.
Mrs. Harmon is survived by her husband of 47 years, W. Eugene Harmon; a daughter and son-in-law, Dolores Sis and Randy Roberts of Ontario; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Mellissa Harmon of Mansfield; three grandsons, Randal L. Roberts, Benjamin E. Roberts and Chandler A. Harmon; two granddaughters, Cierra J. Harmon and Autumn L. Harmon; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Peter and Sally Rabquer of Toledo and Al and Evelyn Rabquer of Mansfield; a sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Terri Gilkey of Tennessee; three brothers-in-law and their spouses, Rawlins and Jeannie Harmon of Florida, Gordan and Jeannie Harmon of Lexington, and Raymond and Dorothy Harmon of Mansfield; three sisters-in-law, Elsie Hall of Mansfield, Iona Fannin of Newark and Bernice Grant of Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as church members; special friends, Betty Bivens, Laudie Porter, Don and Jeanette Erwin, Vedora and Jim Thompson, and Dave and Ruth Ash; and pastor and friend, Ralph Smith. Mrs. Harmon was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Steven Eugene Harmon taken from us on June 15, 2002.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Thursday, October 23 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services conducted by Pastor Don Jordan and Dr. John D. Freeman, will be held at Open Bible Church at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio or the family. Mrs. Harmon will be sadly missed and always remembered by her loved ones. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Hospice and all who assisted and spent time with them during Dolores' illness.
