

Donald Pugh, 87, of Mansfield, died March 5, 2015. Born September 15, 1927 in Galion, he was the son of Landford A. and Elizabeth (Bauer) Pugh. Donald owned Don's Barbershop for over 50 years and was still cutting hair. He was a member of the Meat Packer and Barber's Union and he was a longtime member of Grace Episcopal Church, where he was very active in church activities. In his younger years, Donald was an avid golfer at Twin Lakes. Donald's life was his family, work, and church. He was always a man you could count on.
Surviving are his sons, Matthew Pugh of Providence, RI and Christopher Pugh of Seattle, WA; granddaughter, Rachel Pugh of Seattle, WA; and great-grandchild, Alice Nicole Mandeville.
Along with his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte A. (Phipps) Pugh; brother, Robert Pugh; and sisters, Dorothy Snyder and Betty Durtschi.
Memorial services will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 41 Bowman Street, Mansfield, conducted by Rev. Joe Ashby. Family and friends are invited to visit from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Galion. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
