Donna S. Morton Riggenbach, 59, of Lucas, passed away late Thursday evening, March 8, 2018, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born December 30, 1958, in Louisa, Kentucky, to Willie and Gladys Faye (Kincaid) Cyrus.
Donna was a hard worker and was employed as a nurse for 25 years, retiring from Raintree. A born caregiver, she never really retired, but continued to care for others and was the one everyone went to when they had a question or injury. Her compassion for the well-being of others was evident in her daily life. She was drawn to those in need and had a special desire to feed the hungry. She loved her family deeply and especially enjoyed spending time with her precious grandchildren. A lady of faith and firm believer in the power of prayer, God was ever present in her heart.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Riggenbach, whom she married on July 15, 2011; two sons, Jeremy Compton and Josh (Miranda) Ramey; daughter, Emily Riggenbach; four grandchildren, Maisy, Destiny and Caden Ramey and Trey Riggenbach; and two siblings, Willie (Barb) Cyrus and Doris Trail. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Faye Cyrus; a grandson, Noah; and a brother.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Pastor David Parsons will follow at 11:00 a.m.
