Donna Thompson

Donna Thompson, 56, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Triumph Hospital. Born May 11, 1951 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Jerry and Sadie Issac Thompson. Donna enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and cooking.

She is survived by her companion of 30 years, Walter Smith; two daughters, Tammy David Knipp and Jennifer Thompson, both of Mansfield; three stepchildren, Daniel Smith, Darrell Kathy Smith, and Nancy Dwayne Smith, all of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Misty, David, Danielle, Dalton, Michael, and Lissa; nine step-grandchildren; one great- grandchild; two step great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald, Donald, Lonnie, and David Thompson; sister, Jewell Smith; seven nieces and nephews; and two special pets, Whiskers and Casey. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Eugene Thompson.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Rick Pelfrey. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
