Doris Myers

Doris Craig Myers, 89, of Mansfield, died Thursday morning October 7, 2004 at Westview Manor in Wooster. Born July 4, 1915 in Cowley Co., Kansas, she was the daughter of James E. and Fay Miles Craig. She spent most of her life in Loudonville, living the past six years in Mansfield. Mrs. Myers was a member of Eastern Star and had been Past President of Friends of the Library in Loudonville and served on the board at the state level.

Survivors include two daughters, Miriam Myers of Mansfield, and Barbara Gruver of Wooster; three grandchildren, Gary Cowell of Lucas, Timothy Cowell of Meadville, Pennsylvania, and Rick Gruver of Lucas; and one niece, Ada Ruth Craig of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Myers, her parents, two brothers, Charles E. and James R. Craig, and sister, Dorothy Rising.

Private graveside services will be held Saturday October 9, 2004. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 182039 Department 013 Columbus, OH 43218-2039. Wappner Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
