Dorothy Copeland

Dorothy Bloomfield Hamilton Copeland, 86, of Mansfield, Ohio died Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield. Mrs. Copeland was born September 2, 1915 in Thor, Kentucky living in the Mansfield area the past 50 years. She was a member of Stewart Road Church of God.

She is survived by six sons and daughters-in-law, Philip & Janice Hamilton of Fredericktown, Reuben & Mary Hamilton; Timothy V. & Ruth I. Hamilton all of Mansfield, Stephen Hamilton of Medina, Ohio, Dwight & Vicki Hamilton of Birchwood, Tennessee, and Benjamin Hamilton of Florida; four daughters and sons-in-law, Vivian & John Richardson of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Kathryn Williamson; Karen Sue & Randal Robinson all of Mansfield, and Ramona & Doliver Napier of Shiloh; a stepson, Thomas L. Copeland of Florida; two stepdaughters, Gwenith Watson and Janice Fisher, both of Mansfield; two brothers, Estill Bloomfield of Camp Dix Kentucky and Alton Bloomfield of Florida; three sisters, Beatrice Thacker and Betty Hamilton, both of Mansfield, and Faye Blankenship of Nevada, Ohio; 38 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; 15 great great-grandchildren; and 9 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben & Laura C. Stafford Bloomfield; her first husband, Olen K. Hamilton; her second husband, Rev. T.L. Copeland; a grandson; a granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Bloomfield; and a sister, Millie Fannin.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services to be held Friday at 12:00 noon at Stewart Road Church of God conducted by Dr. Ronald e. Beady and Stephen Hamilton. Burial will be in Hamilton-Mawk Cemetery, Vanceburg, Kentucky Saturday, November 3, 2001 at 1:00 p.m.
