
Dorothy 'Dot' May Manley, 93, of Crestline, died Tuesday morning, November 6, 2007 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Born March 29, 1914 in Flint, Michigan, she was the daughter of John and Leone Parks Smith. She retired from Mansfield Memorial Homes. She loved to play guitar and travel. She enjoyed spending time with her family and arts and crafts.
She is survived by two sons, Clyde Barbara Manley, Jr. of Mansfield and Richard E. Manley of Galion; a daughter, Donna Jane Webber of Howell, MI and her special friend, Frank Paletta; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Manley; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Carlton Smith of Mansfield; two sisters-in-law, Viola Smith and Eva Smith; and several half-sisters and brothers. Preceding her in death were her husband, Clyde E. Manley; son, Ronald 'Gene' Manley; sister, Wilma Stanley; and two brothers, Robert and Willard Smith.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. Renae Meggitt will be held Friday, November 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
