Dorothy Perry

Primarily a homemaker, she had worked at MedCentral as a receptionist and in the billing department. She enjoyed golfing, quilting, country decor and listening to country music. Before her husbands death, they were active in the Amvets. She was a wonderful mother and great aunt and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters, Kristi (Mathias Habiger) Perry of Florida and Staci (Peter) Halpin of Columbus; a son, Steven (Beth Desiderio-Truax) Truax of Ontario; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Stephen) Hobson of Mt. Gilead, Kaylyn (Jon) Anderson of Grove City, Nickolas (Sidney Baker) Truax of Ontario, Dianna and Brenna Perry of Ontario and Philip and Samantha Halpin of Columbus; three great grandchildren, Isabella Hobson, Violet Anderson and Emelyn Truax; two sisters, Phyllis (Stan) Briggs of Lexington, KY and Judy (Jim) Linn of Colleyville, TX; a brother, Ron (Pat) Terry of Pulaski, TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip E. Perry.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park at a later date.
