Dorthy Branch

Dorthy J. Branch, 75, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006. Born August 18, 1931 in Marion, she was the daughter of Lewis M. and Susie E. Bartram Clark. She was a member of the Grand Prairie Baptist church for many years. Mrs. Branch was a past officer of the Ontario Mother's Club and the Amvets #31 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidery, quilting, and caring for her family and neighbors.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Tom Fink of Mansfield, and Pam and Gerald Nunn of Lucas; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Deborah Branch of Mansfield; grandchildren, Karen Stump, April Henry, Joseph Henry, Dustin Nunn, Tori Gillam, Gerry Nunn, Gina Nicholson, and Genelle Eggerton; great-grandchildren, Korey Eggerton, Reed Nicholson, and Christian Nunn; life-long friend, Gracie Porter of Grayson, Kentucky; one sister, Shirley Ann Sayre of Upper Sandusky; and four brothers, Lewis Clark, Jr., of New Mexico, Donald Bartram Clark of Carey, Willard Eugene Clark of Upper Sandusky, and Larry Clark of Delaware. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Otho Branch, Jr.; parents; two brothers, Edward Clark, and Jack Clark; and one infant sister, Barbara.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home conducted by Dr. Dale V. Adkins. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
