
Edna E. Love, 76, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at Mifflin Care Center following a long illness. She was born January 2, 1930, in Millstone, KY, the daughter of Joel and Nora Trent Spencer. Edna was a member of Paradise Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, going to church, going to church dinners, cooking, collecting bells, setting up and selling at Flea Markets and her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Garry Brown of Mansfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Lannie Roose and Retha and David Brooks all of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Missy Jones, Chrissy Schuster, Joshua Lewis, Roy Brown, Ami Brown, Mike Baker, Glen Kline, Nina Dechert, and Melanie Marietta; one step grandson, Roy Roose; nine great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, her twin Ernest Bud Spencer of Dresden, Lloyd Spencer, Clay Spencer and J.B. Spencer all of Mansfield; and three sisters, Maerine Short of Kentucky, Carlene Carty of Shelby and Ann Edenfield of Warren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Albert Love and Merle Brown; her parents; three sisters, Buelah Spencer, Marie Barnett and Lucille Hess; and one brother, Creed Spencer.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2006 at Paradise Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Clyde 'Junior' Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
