Edward O'Leary, Jr.

Edward J. O'Leary, Jr., 65, of Mansfield, died late Monday evening, July 17, 2006, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born September 24, 1940, in Mansfield, he was the son of Edward J. Sr. and Eileen Hill O'Leary. He retired from A.K. Steel after 32 years of service where he worked as a crane operator. Mr. O'Leary was an avid golfer and member of the F.O.E. #336, B.P.O.E. #56, and the Owl's Club #1152 and loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by four children, Michael Connie O'Leary, Shari Joe Brown, Allen Kim O'Leary, and Edward J. Sasha O'Leary III; eight grandchildren, Candice, Lindsay, Kyle, Halie, Kacie, Brayden, Justin, and Neeley; one great-grandson, Ian; father, Edward Edye O'Leary, Sr.; and brother, Ken Gerry O'Leary. He was preceded in death by his mother and daughter, Jacqueline.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Friday, July 21, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, the family would like to invite all friends to the Eagles #336 in remembrance of their dad and son. Contributions on behalf of Edward J.
