Edward S. Sroka, 71 of Mansfield, OH died Wednesday, August 23, 2000 at MedCentral Mansfield. He was born October 6, 1928 in Auburn, New York to Joseph & Josephine Sroka. He worked for the State Liquor Store, and was known as the 'Pie Man' at the Flea Market at the Richland Fairgrounds. Mr. Sroka was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Baldridge Sroka of Mansfield, OH; a son, Michael Baldridge of Mansfield, OH; a daughter and son-in-law, Callie & Travis Sampson of Clinton, NC; a step-son & his spouse, Carl & Allison Fenner of Copley, OH; five grandchildren, Eddie & Nickeya Sampson, Jennifer, Jodie, and Andrew Fenner; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a sister.
Memorial Contributions may be made in care of the American Heart Association and The Central Ohio Diabetes Association. There will be no calling or funeral services held. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors are handling arrangements.
