Eileen Jamieson

Eileen M. Jamieson, 86, of Mansfield, died Friday, April 24, 2009 at Triumph Hospital. Born September 22, 1922, she was the daughter of Jerome and Tena Koontz Kocher. Eileen retired from Peoples Hospital as a dietician. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Eileen enjoyed playing bingo and cards.

She is survived by six children, James Helen Jamieson, Paul Jamieson, all of Mansfield, Danny Patty Jamieson of Mt. Vernon, Les Lisa Jamieson, Forrest "Frost" Jamieson, and Bonnie Clint Snedegar, all of Mansfield; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Dean Ruth Kocher of Malvern; sister, Shirley Kocher of Navarre; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril L. Jamieson; parents; grandson, Troy; brothers, Elmer, Ray, Forrest, and Paul Kocher; and sister, Bernice.

Friends may call from Monday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home conducted by Dr. Rusty Whitemire. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Cemetery in Malvern. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
