Elizabeth Beaty

Elizabeth Ruhlen Beaty, 89, of Mansfield, died early Tuesday morning, November 30, 2004, at Lexington Court Care Center. She was born October 3, 1915 in Mansfield to Herman and Gay D. Lemley Ruhlen. She attended Main Street United Methodist Church, was a charter member of the Omega Taw Gamma Sorority and Ruth Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three grandchildren and spouses, John and Jessica Boroff of Montgomery, Alabama, Andrew and Mechelle Boroff of Mansfield, and Alicia and Bryan Clark of Bozeman, Montana; eight great-grandchildren; son-in-law, John Boroff of Colorado; a niece, April G. Hardin of Mansfield; great-niece, Amy Stevens of Lucas; great-great niece, Jacqueline Stevens of Arizona; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ivan and Gertrude Beaty; and a cousin, Roberta Becker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn L. Beaty; daughter, Judy K. Boroff; sister, Marjorie Lang; and parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 3, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
