Elizabeth Bukszar (Clark) of Warrensville Hts, Ohio went to heaven to be with her husband on March 3, 2014 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland, OH. Elizabeth was an extraordinary woman, born a coal miner's daughter on March 21, 1917 in Derth, Pennsylvania. She left home at 13 to complete her high school diploma at John Hay High School in Cleveland, achieving honor roll status while working as a housekeeper for a group of nurses to support herself. She married Edward Bukszar in 1939 and raised their two young daughters on her own while husband Edward served in the Navy during WWII. Elizabeth worked for Society National Bank and retired as the Assistant Finance Director in Warrensville Heights. Edward passed away two years ago.
She is survived by her three children, Virginia Yusko of Ashland; Bobbie Bukszar of Novato, California; Edward Bukszar of Vancouver Canada; her five grandchildren; and her one great grandson.
Funeral services will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church on Buckeye Rd. in Cleveland on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., where she and Edward were married 75 years earlier.
