

Betty enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling, especially to Hawaii, Florida, Canada, and out west. She had an amazing sense of humor and quick wit. She also was a faithful Cleveland Indians fan. She retired from Westinghouse at age 60 after 27 years of service. Betty was a great cook and an excellent seamstress and knitter.
On March 29, 1944, Betty married the love of her life, Fred Crawford, who passed away in 2007 after 63 years of marriage. Her family was most important to her and she devoted her time and attention to each and every one of them.
Betty is survived by three daughters, Judy Crawford, Barb (Bill) Holzworth, and Terri Fulk; seven grandchildren, Kari (Bryan) Maglott, Soni (James) Crist, Bill Holzworth Jr., Mike (Jodie) Holzworth, Jon (Lori) Holzworth, Kyle Fulk, and Brooke Fulk; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by a sister, Julia Lennick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Crawford; and three siblings, Barbara Hinerman, Helen Moritz, and John Stier.
Visitation will be held at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, OH, Friday, August 19, 2016 from 1:00- 2:00 pm. Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bonnie Peltomaa officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
