

She was born April 20, 1936 in Central Falls, Rhode Island to the late Henry and Philamena David. Elizabeth was employed for many years as a prep cook at Mansfield Restaurant and also as a kitchen supervisor at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home and Woodlawn Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She had attended Cook Road Baptist Church for several years. Elizabeth loved cooking and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed watching horror movies with anyone who was up to it.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Jerry) Payton of Mansfield; stepchildren, James (Vickie) West, Jr. of Lexington, Janice (Tom) Sealey, Linda (Mark) Hager and John (Rita) West, all of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Jerry Daniel Baith and Brian Scott Baith of Mansfield; fourteen step grandchildren; a great-grandson, Javien Baith; eight step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Scottie Baith; second husband, James Walter West; son, David Baith; one brother; and one sister.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Pastor Randy Raines will conduct the service. Friends and family may visit beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Mansfield Cemetery at a later date.
