Elsie M. Long, 70, of Mansfield, died Friday, September 9, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born October 6, 1940 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Donel and Bertha (Gleisinger) Long. She graduated from Lexington High School and retired from Therm-O-Disc. She enjoyed baking and sewing but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by two daughters, Melody (Robert) Attaway and Rebecca (Matt) Bolin; six grandchildren, Whitney, Jacob, Kyle, Matthew, Will and Katie; two brothers, Donald (Barbara) Long and Richard Long; three sisters, Maxine Shepard, Donna Long and Peggy Long; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Drive, Ontario. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
