Elva Corrine York, 83, passed away at home on Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was born on September 4, 1941, in Sturgis, Michigan to Henry D. and Ruth (Saunders) Ritter.

She was a long time member of Journey Life Center Church. She loved travelling anywhere, but especially to Florida. God called her home after an extended illness.

Elva is survived her husband Phillip York; stepson David (Julie) York ; niece Angie (Claude) Dutcher; nephew David Berchaitti, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents; her daughter Lisa and sister Katherine Berchaitti.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Wappner, 1327 Ashland Road, Mansfield, OH 44905. Funeral services will follow, officiated by Pastor Bruce Philippi. Burial will take place at Mansfield Cemetery.
