
Emily K. Haberbuchler Taylor, 90, of Mansfield, died Saturday, September 2, 2006, at the home of her daughter in Gig Harbor, Washington. Born February 13, 1916, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Kathern Faugl Haberbuchler. A Mansfield area resident most of her life, Emily was crowned Miss Mansfield in 1940. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter #17, and Baku Grotto Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, William Taylor of Westerville, OH; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jim Foster of Gig Harbor, WA; granddaughter, Dawne Taylor; three grandsons, Douglas Kelly Taylor, Christopher Borger and Ryan Borger; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Taylor and her parents.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, conducted by Rev. Allen E. Rose. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, Richland County Humane Society or MedCentral Hospice.
