Erma Jean Huffman

Born January 6, 1932, in Hayesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Anabel Boyer. She was a 1950 graduate of Hayesville High School. Erma worked at Artesian for 11 years.

Her favorite place to be was her kitchen. She loved to cook for her friends and family. Her great-grandchildren brought a lot of joy into her life. Erma was extremely loved by her family, extended family and neighbors. Her sense of humor and her loving, giving nature will always be remembered. She loved cats, especially Goldie, Pumpkin and Mother.

Surviving are a sister, Lucille Hartman; her very close friend, Ray Holland; a stepson, Donald Neil Huffman; grandchildren, Donald (Jenni) Huffman, Donna (Charles) Winger, Sherri (Jerry) Collins and Corina (Matt) Hallam; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Huffman, whom she married on April 10, 1965; as well as three brothers.

There will be no services at this time. A memorial dinner will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth Hospice. Wappner Cremation Center is privileged to serve the family.
