Erma "Rachel" Pierce Roush, 92, of Mansfield, died August 6, 2015. Born January 23, 1923 in Barnesville, Ohio, she was daughter of William and Gail (West) Pierce. Rachel loved being a mother and a homemaker. She enjoyed being a part of the PTA when her children were in school and loved to read and play bridge. Rachel was a member of the Dolly Madison Club.
Surviving are her children, Randall Roush of Mansfield and Thomas Roush Sr. of Texas; four grandchildren, Scott, Thomas Jr., Renee, and Joey; and many great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Roush; granddaughter, Tammy Roush Schofield; brother, Francis Pierce; and sister, Louise Twinem.
A private family service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Burial will take place in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth MedCentral Hospice, 335 Glessner Ave, Mansfield, Ohio 44903.
