
Erma V. Reynolds Stone, 83, of Mansfield died September 29, 1999 at Woodlawn Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Stone was born September 14, 1916 in Barboursville, West Virginia residing in the Huntington area all of her life. She retired from C & O Railroad as a timekeeper and was a member of Johnson Memorial Church and of the Women's Club both of Huntington, West Virginia. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Steve & Mary Reynolds of Mansfield; one stepson and step-daughter-in-law, Rex & Freda Reynolds of Dubuque, Iowa; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John Dodds of Eugene, Oregon; Robert & Avanelle Dodds of Barboursville, West Virginia; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Margaret Dodds; Nellie Preston both of Barboursville, West Virginia; and Janet & Gay Kayser of Bakersfield, California; three grandsons and one grand-daughter-in-law, Chad & Heather Reynolds; Christopher and Curtis Reynolds; four step-grandchildren and their wives, Richard & Jeannie Reynolds; Cathy & Brian Remakel; and Robert and Ronald Reynolds; four great grandchildren, Alexis, Caitlin, Amanda and Jordan. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Stephen & Bertha Sullivan Dodds; her husband Emory Stone; her first husband, Herchel Eugene Reynolds; two brothers, Clifford & Kenneth Dodds; and one great-granddaughter, Kelli Reynolds. Friends may call at the Beard Mortuary in Huntington, West Virginia on Monday October 4, 1999 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with funeral services being held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Woodmere Cemetery in Huntington, West Virginia.
