

Born March 9, 1924 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Karl and Margaret Glaesser Wilging. A life long resident of Mansfield, she graduated from Mansfield Senior High and Mansfield Business School. She enjoyed being a homemaker as well as assisting her husband with record keeping in his business Bill's Carburetion and Ignition Service. Mrs. Baloy excelled at gardening and knitting and was a gifted seamstress who generously shared handmade gifts with family and friends. The focus of her life was honoring the Lord through acts of service. She was an active member of the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle Bellville Rd. In her later years as a stroke victim confined to a wheelchair, Mrs. Baloy resided at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman, Ohio where she blessed others with her encouraging attitude and words. Her children and grandchildren loved to visit her there.
She is survived by three daughters and son-in-laws, Pauline and Curtis Haring of Wadsworth, Kathleen and Edward Malecki of Columbus, and Marlene and Matthew Neal of Mansfield;one son and daughter-in-law, David and Lori Baloy of Mansfield; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Shirley Wilging of Avon Lake. She was preceded in death in 1993 by her husband, William G. Baloy, whom she married in January 1945. Also preceding her in death were a sister, Dorothy Wylie, and brothers, Eugene and Walter Wilging.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m Tuesday April 26, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Wednesday at the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle Bellville Rd. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Church or the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman, Ohio.
