
Esther M. Sexton, 73, of Mansfield died early Wednesday morning, August 15, 2001 at Woodlawn Nursing Home after an extended illness. Mrs. Sexton was born April 26, 1928 in Denton, Kentucky living in the Mansfield area since 1955. She was employed several years as a private duty nurse. Mrs. Sexton was a member of Four Corners Church of God, 1052 Lenox Ave. where she was a member of Glory Workers and served as secretary-treasurer.
Mrs. Sexton went home to be with her Lord. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold G. & Kiyoko Sexton of Mansfield and Gary L. & Jan Sexton of Willowick; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette & Larry Rayburn and Sharon L. & Daniel Boggs, all of Mansfield; 11 grandchildren, Angie, Daniel Jr. ''Jake'', Tammy, Larry, Michael, Steven, Jeremy, John Wayne, Linda, Tabitha, and Jessica; 13 great-grandchildren, Brittany, Stephanie, Nick, Ellen, Sarah, Robin, Robbie, Caitlin, Chayce, Trevor, Thomas, Tyler, and Cameron; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Everett R. & Gee Tolliver of Santa Claus, Indiana, Hollis & Rosie Tolliver of Florida, and Terry Paul & Ella Tolliver of Mansfield; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis & Gary Echenrode of Dayton; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Richard & Carrie Miller Tolliver; and her husband of 53 years, Howard J. Sexton.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Four Corners Church of God Saturday at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Nathaniel Rhodes. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
