
Ethel Marie Taylor, age 76, of Mansfield, Ohio died Wednesday evening November 27, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital due to complications of a massive stroke. Mrs. Taylor was born October 1, 1926 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and has lived in the Mansfield area most of her life. She has worked at J. S. Ringwalt Co. in Mt. Vernon and Therm-O-Disc in Mansfield. Mrs. Taylor loved being with her family, and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William Edward Taylor of Mansfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Bradley Alan Taylor and his wife Ana Laura of Phoenix, AZ; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Oswalt of Mansfield; a sister, Grace Workman of Mansfield; a son-in-law, Don Watkins; a step-daughter and her husband, Marilyn and Joe Miller of Mansfield; a step-son and his wife, Robert and Lana Taylor of Reston, VA; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jeff and Sharon Jackson, Greg and Nicole Jackson, and Jenni Bowen; four step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Margaret Teeter; a daughter, Beverly Watkins; two sisters, Florence Vian and Frances Frye; a brother, Ralph Teeter; and her first husband, Harry Wilhelm.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to the services. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Jim Streib. Burial will be held in Zion Cemetery in Butler, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in care of Wappner Funeral Directors.
