

Eva Norris, 92, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday morning, August 20, 2017, at Mansfield Memorial Homes. She was born December 5, 1924, in Harlan, Kentucky, one of ten children of the late Dave and Dora (Barger) Bargo.
She was an avid seamstress and was employed by Bechtel Cleaners for 35 years. After a full day of sewing at work, Eva would come home and sew items for her home and family. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of a league in her younger years.
Eva was a very kind, compassionate woman and was always willing to help anyone in need. Her compassion for others was second to none. Family came first in her life and she treasured the time spent with each and every one of her family members. Her friends at McElroy Road Church of Christ, where she was a longtime member, were like family to her also.
She is survived by two daughters, Nora Sizemore of Shelby and Dora (Ron) Hamilton of Ashland; four grandchildren, Allen Sizemore of Willard, Jack Sizemore, Jason (Jenny) Kline and Jessica (Gene) Hoffman, all of Mansfield; and six great-grandchildren, Emma Kline, Gene Hoffman, Heather Hoffman, Nathan Hoffman, Nicole Sizemore, and Winston Sizemore. Eva is also survived by five siblings, Betty Logan of Shelby, Sam Bargo, Dave Bargo, Patricia Bargo and Janie Bargo, all of Harlan, KY; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death four brothers, Eugene, Edward, Everett and Eulyss Bargo.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery on August 29, 2017.
