

She was a long time member of St. Mary of the Snows Catholic Church. Eve was a wonderful cook and owned and operated the Dinner Bell Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and trying her luck at the slots in the casino. Most of all, she loved and cherished her family deeply and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Eve is survived by three children, Jackie (Dennis) Nelson, "Bato" (Donna) Harris and Eugene (Elaine) McCarrick; eight grandchildren, "Boog" (Jen) Harris, Hollie (Tim) Slaton, Denny (Ashley) Nelson, Megan (Tim) Boggs, Billie, Jackie, Jodi, and Tammy; numerous great-grandchildren; four sisters, Tresa (Jack) Wehinger, Fran Bender, Jo Touby and Toni Thompson; many nieces and nephews; and special great-niece, Ali Walters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine (Fillutzy) Fama; son, Joseph Harris; granddaughter, Jackie; brother, Eugene Fama; and four sisters, Mary Valerio, Rose Fanello, Patsy Burkhart and Jane Stiteler.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. a memorial service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to OhioHealth Hospice.
