

A homemaker, she was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. She loved to read, crochet and was a great baker who loved to cook for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who always called her "Grandma T".
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Jean (Gary) Grogg and Patricia Ann (Ray) Williams both of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Debra (Larry) Wiles, Barb (Mark) Gombosch and Robin (Scot) Hickok; 14 great grandchildren, Mike (Vickie) Wiles, Melissa (Ben) Brandt, Matthew Wiles, Dustin and Dakota Gombosch, Taylor Cottrill, Kourtney Hickock, Amanda Windsor, Mikayla Wiles, Cohen, Brody and Benton Brandt, Alexis Cottrill and Brayan and Bryson Windsor; two step great grandchildren, Savannah and Damon Steinhour; a sister, Mickey Boebel; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Alex Davis, Jr.; her second husband, Paul Thomas, Sr.; a granddaughter, Lori Cottrill; and a brother-in-law, Harold Boebel.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Laura White and Chaplain Alden Thibeau. Burial will follow in Lantz Cemetery. Friends may also call one hour prior to the funeral service, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
