Faye Clemons Giles born July 13, 1942 to Earnest & Roberta Clemons. The oldest sister to 3 brothers; Earnest, Larry & Cornelius Clemons. Left West Virginia and Ohio at young age and landed in Brooklyn, NY.
In the early1960's where she met one of her dearest friends of almost 60 years Dorothy Griffith Glen. She also met and married the father of her children, Morris Marshall Jr. in 1963. They had their 1st child a son Morris Marshall III “Sport”. They continued to live there and Faye held a job as a waitress, and also work at AT & T with Dorothy. In 1972, they had their 2nd child a girl, Faye Marshall (Koko) and shortly after moved to Los Angeles, CA. Faye transferred continued working for the telephone companies where she met her 2nd best friend, Eddith Grant. She also worked at a nursing home in Culver City, California for a short time.
Faye and Mr. Marshall bought a home in the Los Angeles area in 1975 where they had planned on raising their family. Unfortunately, they divorced in 1980.
She went on to date and married Charlie Giles of West Virginia, in 1983 where they moved for a short period, and from there to Georgia where she reunited with her friend Koko’s God Mother Dorothy Glen. (Aunt Dotty).
Faye & Charlie both worked at the Marriott Marquese In Atlanta for over a decade. The marriage ended around 1990. Faye continued to work at the Marriot and met a host of new friends, Raymond, Deb, and many more.
She was a member of Dr. Charles Stanley Church, in Atlanta. She lived her life taking care of others’ families, cleaning churches and serving the Lord once she found him.
Faye returned to Ohio to live out her last years with her brothers, and was always ready to travel. She kept a suitcase packed.

Her friend, Dorothy Griffin Glen, states, “I will miss you, God loves you “Faye” like peanut butter toast on a cold day.” The two shared many fond memories as neighbors, co-workers and dear friends for over 57 years.
Funeral services for Faye will be held on August 4, 2026, at 6:00 pm at Wappner Funeral Directors & Crematory-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond St.
