
Faye A. Morton, age 95, of Mansfield, died Saturday January 8, 2005 at Oak Grove Manor. Born October 17, 1909 in Lucas, Ohio, she was the daughter of Elmer Lavern and Mary McFarland Moser. She was a member or the First Alliance since 1954 and taught Sunday School for 22 years. Mrs. Morton was a member of the Mifflin Garden Club. Mrs. Morton retired in 1984 from the real estate business after 28 years of service. The last five years of her life she was a resident of Oak Grove Manor, where she received excellent and loving care, which the family most appreciated.
Survivors include three daughters and son-in-law, Mary Sulek of Ridgecrest, California, Helen and Charles Rucker of Bonita Springs, Florida, and Margie Buskirk of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan L. Morton in 1973; three brothers, Ralph, Fred and Clark Moser; and two sisters, Margaret Moore and Ilo Price.
Friends may call Tuesday January 11, 2005 one hour prior to an 11 a.m. funeral service at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors with Pastor Duke Hergatt and Pastor Jack Hackworth officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
