Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.  I never met Florine personally, but had spoken with her over the phone on a number of ocassions.  She will be missed.

Bob and I would like to express our deepest condolences to Jerry and his family and Rollie and his family.  Having worked for 13 years as a court reporter for Florine, I know how respected, admired and loved she was by so many people.  She had an amazing way about her that people just responded to.   She was a truly special lady and will be sorely missed by many.

I'll miss seeing and visiting with Florine each month at the South High 1934 class luncheons.  She was the glue that kept the group together and the spark plug that kept us active.  I feel very honored to have been able to become part of the group and be accepted into the class.  Thankfully she lived to be one of the last 4 classmates to continue to meet for lunch each month.  She hung in there until almost the very end.  We all will miss her updates each month and just being together.  She was certainly the heart of the '34 class.  Without her, the group surely would not have been so active or done so much nor continue to meet for well over 20 years.

Florine was not just a former employer of mine, she was my friend.  Although I ceased working for Florine Varner & Associates in 1990, I still kept in touch with Florine, as she did with me.  I remember attending a National Convention in Chicago several years ago and when I received my delegate packet, there was a note in there from Florine that started off "Hello My Friend".  So now I must say, Good-bye My Friend and thanks for allowing me to be a part of your life!

I remember Florine and Gerry when he owned the sporting goods store on Union St. near downtown Ashland, but I can't remember the name of their dalmation. My parents were Dwight and Nancy Kuhn. He sold Chevrolets. I thought, though I was a child, that Florine had a noble profession. My condolences are with you.

I was the flower girl at "Aunt Florine" & "Uncle" Jerry's wedding.  She went to high school with my parents and they remained lifelone friends. We spent many happy times with the two of them.

Florine was a 1952 charter member of the ASESIBA At Sunrise Every Soul is Born AnewChapter of NSA National Secretaries Assn., PSI Professional Secretaries International and now IAAP International Association of Administrative Professionals.  She served as president of the chapter in 1963-1964.  She has remained active serving on committees and attending meetings.  I served on the Scholarship Committee with her this year and she attended the May monthly meeting.

She will be greatly missed by her friends of ASESIBA. The flower arrangement from the chapter represents the American Beauty Rose  our flower and the gold accent also the color of the chapter.

She was very proud of ASESIBA and we are very proud of her courage and to be her friends.

Oh, the stories you could tell.  Our profession definitely suffered a great ripple in "The Force" when you passed.  Thanks for the opportunity to work with you.
