
Floyd L. Vealey, 67, of Mansfield, died Monday, February 5, 2007 at Mifflin Care Center. Born October 14, 1939 in Franklin, New Jersey, he was the son of Percy and Dorothy Schauger Vealey. He retired from Hy Grade Beverage Co. in New Jersey as driver after over 20 years of service. He had also worked at Meijer in Mansfield as a Party Store Clerk. Mr. Vealey enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Claire Romyns Vealey; one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Amy Vealey of Mansfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanne and John Vealey-Traub, and Kathleen and Richard Burns, all of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Christopher and Adam, both of Mansfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Carol Vealey of North Carolina; and sister, Janet Wottle of Canton. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leon and Roy; and sister, Jean.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
