Forrest L. Chandler, 100, of Ashland, died Friday, June 13, 2008, at Crystal Care Center of Ashland. Born May 31, 1908, in Ashland, she was the daughter of Lafayette and Edna Stout Chandler. Forrest was formerly employed at the former Home Company as a saleslady and a buyer making trips to Cleveland and New York City. When the Home Company closed, she was employed at Gilbert Furniture Company for 8 years. She and her friend "Lil" have traveled "Half way around the world" as Forrest would say.
She is survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Berlin Chandler in 2001.
